If You Aren't Whitening, You're Yellowing!

I don't rave about non-nail polish on here, but I will today!

I have been using the Crest 3D White Professional Effects Whitestrips for the past 20 days and I feel like a new woman! These are so easy to use and have brightened my smile at least 2 shades! I feel way more confident wearing bright lipsticks now.

Go get your white teeth on ladies!

OPI Nein, Nein, Nein, OK Fine

Hello all! Quick post to tell you how much I love gray polish. Quick note about me, I first started getting interested in nail polish when I found out that I could have "pretty ugly" colors on my nails. Like browns and grays and mustard yellows. So gray polish is close to my polish lovin' heart.

This is OPI Nein, Nein, Nein, OK Fine from the Germany collection. I have the mini so I can only say this would have been applied a lot better if it wasn't for that damn mini brush. This is 2 coats with Seche Vite on top.

Love you. (Love you too, reader).

Butter London Muggins

As you all know, recently Ulta had a buy one, get one free on Butter London, here is one of the polishes I snagged during that hot deal.

Butter London Muggins! This polish actually looked blue to me in the bottle, and blue in pictures, but is actually a really light purple. It is similar to Essie Lilacism without the overt purpleness. Do I make sense yet? Essie Stroke Of Brilliance is a thick, blue glitter. I actually got it for free as a Klout perk, that was awesome.

I have 3 coats of Muggins on, mostly because it's a little spotty. Otherwise, the application is lovely, as you would expect of a Butter London polish. My polished chipped soon hereafter, which I was not happy about. So when in doubt, add glitter! I added a coat of Essie Stroke Of Brilliance to cover up the  boo boo and I ended up with a really pretty, sparkly mani. Seche Vite on top, of course.

Smooches and see you next time my lovely polished ladies!

It's Finally October!

Fall is here and I could not be more excited. Football, tea, brisk air, Halloween, soups, and soon - egg nog! Yipee! I have been absent lately, for which I am sad, but I am back and am promising to blog more - even if no one reads ;p.

I have a fun, fall manicure today. I have OPI Deutsche You Want Me Baby topped with Essie Shine Of The Times.

Both of these polishes are gorrrrgeous. Let me first talk about Deutsche You Want Me Baby, which I sadly didn't snap a picture of solo. This is the perfect fall polish that will be on my fingers a lot this season. It's the perfect burnt orange with the right amount of shimmer. The application is flawless, I haven't fallen this hard for a polish in awhile. And then there is Shine Of The Times, which is also drop dead gorgeous. I love this flake because it has a gold/green tone, perfect for fall.

I have 2 coats of Deutsche You Want Me Baby with 1 of Shine Of The Times. I used a new top coat! I listened to you guys and I bought Poshe, definitely not as much shrinkage as Seche Vite, which is excellent. So all in all, this manicure is a success!
Hello Fall!
Close-up of the flakes

I don't know how to work my blog ever. I used to be really computer savvy and now I can't figure out how to move my text from one end of the screen to the next. Anyways, I will be back soon my lovely polished ladies!

Floam!

Hello! Today I have a polish that I have been waiting for...for what it seems like forever. Ninja Polish is always sold out and when they do have more stock, they go in the blink of an eye. So I am thrilled to finally get my hands on Nail-venturous Floam!

I actually found this on Copious, I had some credits so I got this polish for around $5 which was pretty exciting, considering anyone who re-sells it, sells it for around $20, $25. Yeep!

If you aren't familiar with Copious it is like an Etsy Pinterest, they give away credits all of the time and just for signing up you get $10 off of your first $20 purchase, which is pretty dang cool. Then you get $5 for everyone you refer, so if you want to grab some deals check it out, here is referral link.

I have Floam over OPI Fly, not for any particular reason. To be honest, I got the Floam delivery at work and COULD NOT wait to put it on. So over Fly it went. This is 2 coats of Floam over Fly. No top coat, as
Floam is a matte glitter. THIS IS THE COOLEST NAIL POLISH EVER! Go find it, go buy it, the end.

SQUEAL!

There you have it, after months of waiting, she's-a mine! Go buy some, do it. See you next time, my lovely polished ladies!

Butter London Trustafarian

Hello! As as I am sure most of you know - Ulta was doing a buy one, get one free sale on Butter London yesterday. I showed some self control and only got 2 bottles.

I have been Trustafarian this since it came out, it's a gorgeous pale, sage green holographic polish - I say holographic because when you see this is awesome lighting, it shines like a zillion diamonds (as you will see).

I have 2 coats of Trustafarian on, you could do 3 but I have a problem with thickness (I like to peel). Then I have a coat of Seche Vite. I LOVE THIS NAIL POLISH! It is so subtle indoors, but once you get outside in the sun it's like WHAM! The flash on my camera really intensifies the glitters, it's rather lovely, I feel like a champion.
Awe-mazing! (Awesome + Amazing).

In the shady-sun, what it looks like indoors. Nice and subtle.

And POW! So gorgeous.

This is how I justify spending $14 a bottle on Butter London. This color is marvelous, perfect for moving into Fall (or anytime really). I don't feel too flashy but I don't feel demure. I highly, highly recommend this polish. See you next time, my lovely polished ladies!

Julep Popova

Hello! I have part 2 of my Julep box today! Popova is a unique green crème, that I had a difficult time painting. Maybe it was because I had 2 coats of nail strengthener on underneath because my nails are in need of some TLC. It's a paler green but not quite mint, Julep calls it "kelly green" but I beg to differ. I do like the color; however, my mom said it was ugly. You win some, you lose some.

If you aren't familiar with Julep Maven, it's a subscription service that gives you nail polish! I got my first box for just 1 cent. If you want to keep receiving boxes (you can always cancel), they are $19.99 and well worth the price. Here is a link where you can grab your intro box for 1 cent, just remember the code TWITTER1 HTTP://JULEP.COM/?R=21827352

I have 2 coats of Julep Popova over 2 coats of Palladio Nail Strengthener, topped with a coat of Seche Vite. Excuse my painting, it's crude and thick.

Apparently my computer doesn't want to align my pictures, COOL.

Overall, I enjoys this color! See you next time, my lovely polished ladies!
